The article that I got it from has an interesting formula that calculates the success a college QB might have in the NFL based on 3 different stats. I'm deciding on whether to start another thread about it....because I'd have to go back and calculate the past 3 years worth of QBs to see how it truly works out. Maybe I'll do that on my lunch.

It's hard to view these guys to old prospects, cause we know the end product.

2009 was all about whether we should take Sanchez. There was absolutely no discussion about Stafford because everybody knew the Lions would have to be crazy not to take him. |

The talking heads did the same thing they're doing now - exploring everybody other than Stafford, right up till the point that the Lions took him. |

Far as I know, at least 95% of the mocks that year were calling us for Stafford.

Value means jack and shit if you get a franchise QB.

I'd take Geno over the rest of the QB's drafted in the last 5 years except Stafford, Luck and RG3.
Also like to add even though the Lions were heard to be shopping the pick, their coach said they needed to get a pro-bowl QB up there. Similarly, when Reid was asked about the QB situation here he first stated that we have the 1st pick... |

If Reid does really love Foles, and if Chip Kelly really wants Geno Smith, maybe then a swap? Other than that, I just don't see teams giving up a lot for the right to take Geno Smith or Luke Joeckel.

This is what I suspect will happen. I don't think we will get to rape them per value chart points, but I think we will get more than just Foles in the swap.
