You understand that the speed limit is still the speed limit right?

Signs like that are intended for large hauling trucks, RV's etc, vehicles that naturally go slower than the speed limit.

That sign doesn't mean you go FASTER in the left lane.

Why do you care if someone wants to drive faster than you are?

I don't.

But that doesn't mean im going to let someone tailgate (a.k.a, car bully) me into the right lane or get upset because im abiding by the law and they aren't.

If i want to move over, i'll move over out of good will. But if you're going to be an ass, well then **** you, i have every right to this road as you do.

I bet you're one of those people that refuse to pull out into an intersection to turn left while yielding to oncoming traffic aren't you? And you probably almost come to a complete stop before turning right into a driveway/parking lot.

Perhaps because you're creating a hazard to other drivers?

It's a really good thing there wasn't anybody ahead of them. That finger-flipping moron might have killed somebody.

In a day and age where we have our actual rights being taken away at breakneck speed, people want to fight for the right to get somewhere 35 seconds sooner.

Those signs are for all vehicles. Alot of states are now having to make left lane slow poke laws because despite all the signs people still drive where they impede the normal flow of traffic in the left lane. So if you are in the left lane, driving the speed limit, have a chance to pull over to the right lane and let someone pass and do not, you can still get a ticket. The new laws are not for one goofball wanting to go 95 MPH in a 65 with someone in the left lane going 72, but for people in the left lane causing congestion.

The speed limit is the speed limit. Period.

Yes, if you are driving slower than the speed limit, then you need to move to the right. If you are going at or above the speed limit and need to pass, you should be in the left lane. That's the way it is, that's the way it's been.

The sign doesn't say, "65 MPH (Unless you're in the far left lane)", does it?

News flash, a lot of people speed. Just because you're not breaking any laws by driving the speed limit in the left lane doesn't mean you're not a moron with no driving etiquette. If someone behind you is clearly driving faster than you in the left lane and you can get over safely to the right you do it.

100 times out of 100, the person passing (who also happens to be SPEEDING) is going to get pulled over.

This is absolutely moronic.

Most of the time yes, but in the case of someone in the left lane causing congestion, I have seen them be the ones that get the ticket. A few times I have seen the cop pull the left lane slowpoke over and then let them go once they are in the far right lane hoping they learned a lesson instead of ticketing them.

Also, it is a fact that passing on the right is legal in Florida if there are two or more lanes of traffic headed in the same direction. (i.e., on the freeway this is legal)

Impeding people in the left hand lane is reckless driving in many States, but that dude is a complete dumbass.

My final bit of commentary is that Florida does not have a "left lane is only for passing" law. There was a bill proposed about 10 years ago that would have made it so, but it was not enacted.
