Burger King Thinks Mac N' Cheetos Is Something You Might Eat
Burger King Thinks Mac N' Cheetos Is Something You Might Eat
Burger King is out of control and doesn’t care who it hurts. Being tested in select markets and soon rolling out nationwide, Mac N’ Cheetos are deep-fried macaroni and cheese sticks with Cheetos breading. To put it in old, worn-out meme terms, they heard you liked cheese, so they put cheese in their cheese. Also macaroni. Whatever. They’re basically Burger King’s answer to Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos Tacos, born of a partnership between BK and Frito-Lay. Unlike the Doritos Locos Tacos, which have become a mainstay of Taco Bell’s menu, the Mac N’ Cheetos are a limited release, lasting eight weeks or while supplies last. That should give people plenty of time to make bad decisions. Speaking to Bloomberg, Burger King North American president (how can a king have a president?) Alex Macedo threatens that this will not be the last collaboration between fast food royalty and big snack chip. “We’re working on a few other menu items,” Macedo said. “There’s room for us to do more together in the future.”Snacktaku guess this means it will have to go to Burger King for the first time since those hot dogs came out earlier this year. http://kotaku.com/burger-king-thinks...ght-1782445853 |

That was a lot of food & I have to say I was proud you'd made that trip - I'd have skipped that mexican pizza but, CP really got you wanting the fast food yesterday/last night. I've done that - actually a few times on here, get heavily influenced by the all the junk food talk. I did it on the Big Mac thread - and that's the only one that i can remember, but I know there were more! I actually did do it from the secret menu item thread - I ordered the double cheese double meat Big Mac - it was like 7.75 or thereabouts. 1100 calories or something. I don't recall exactly.

It's my favorite fast food burger by far. It's non greasy, grilled, made to order goodness on a toasted bun with mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. There's no gimmicky sauce or other crap there.

no cheese
cheese masks the flavor of the burger and the buttery toasted flavor of the bun

Black olives are salty little buttholes. Scallions are cool though.

even the original tostada (my personal favorite 'tied w/ the disco'd bellbeefer') had the green onions added. That was a nice, safe menu item w/ beans, cheese, lettuce, sauce and green O's. I really miss that item. They do have that newer spicy tostada now which is good if you add the white chopped onion - but it's like .30 cents more.
