I don't understand. It's a sunk cost. You're out the ticket money whether you go to the game or not. If anything, you're out more money if you go to the game in parking and gas, tailgate food, whatever else you need. It would probably save money to not go. Not to mention whatever 4 or 5 hours of your time is worth, and not being outside in the subzero temps

2 of those tickets I picked up were for a buddy who was to pay me when we drove up to Arrowhead. He backed out last minute.

Now he is saying he want to go ahead and go... so it is he, myself, the wife, and a spare ticket.

Now... if someone picks up 2 of them at face value.... I am out only the cost of my ticket as I would make the wife stay at home.

LOL......it really has nothing to do with him playing for SC. There are other SC guys in the draft that I wouldn't want to draft.....

I personally think Ellis is damn near as good as Dorsey if not as good, LSU lineman get a ton of hype, how about Marcus Spears? He got a bunch he hasn't been all that great.

I'd love it if the Chiefs would draft the BPA..but it really won't happen. I've watched Dorsey and he's a monster, so if Ellis is really near his talent, then he might be a good pick.

I'd really be pretty damn happy if we did draft a stud OT, then Vernon Ghoulston falls to the second round and we pick him up there. He's projected late first, but he might slip into the early second. I really doubt it though. We really don't need another DE, but he'd be hard to pass up.

I would rather have Sedrick Ellis than Laurinitis. An awesome DT will make your MLB look better.

Right now, I have little faith that the best DT's in history could make Napoleon Harris look better........

Agreed. I can't believe we have tried and failed with so many DTs in the last 7 effing years but it is true. If we want to be any good at all we need to find at least one standout DT in the next two years.

Dan Salaumeua & Joe Phillips was the main reason our defense kicked ass in the 90's. The 97 team did as well bc Dan Williams dominated for the contract that he wanted.

I'm pretty sure that Smith, Thomas, Carter and Hasty had something to do with it, as well.

Great point! Shows us that the 4-3 Cover 2 doesn't work on every down. IF we stick with that formation, Harris needs some competition at MLB. Putting Tank Tyler in the middle at NT on first down, and sometimes second down, may work.

If Long is gone I would go for a DT, this is a strong OT year and we could get a first round talent OT in the 2nd round.
