Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?

Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

It all depends on preference and resistance. What tank and resistance are you using?

I'm usually at 13.5-17 watts. That's with 1 ohm coils on an ego one tank on top of an ipv mini 2.

I'm at 1.5mg juice and thinking of going to zero or make some .75mg here soon.

I usually run a 1.9 coil at 14 watts or so, but I prefer a warmer vape. It's all subjective. If your happy then don't worry about how it should be, or what not. Also, I'm at 1.6 nic level. Going to zero would be a pretty big leap in degradation. I would recommend you just dropping it a bit, but if you feel you're ready do what you gotta do.

The main problem I having is the companies in using don't go any lower, most juice makers only go down to 3mg. I use VapeWild for my daily. They make a 1.5 that I'm on now. The next step is zero.

Buy a bottle of USP vegetable glycerine. Mix it yourself.

We may be getting our numbers mixed up, since I highly doubt 3.0 is the lowest a company goes. Newports' equivalent is 1.8.

Ok just checked the site; they call 1.8 18. 1.5 is actually .15, which is pretty low. If your vaping that, then the transition to zero should be pretty easy if you're ready. Best of luck, dude.

If you wish to go lower check out vapersknoll.com. You can special order your juice to any mg you desire. If you want .05, they'll make it for you. They are a local store and that is all I use.

Yeah, the numbers we are throwing out there is in reference to how many milligrams of nicotine per milliliter of juice. When you sub ohm vape I think they recommend a max of 6 mgs per milli because the larger and thicker clouds deliver the nic more efficiently and blow through a lot of juice. So, using that scale, anything from 5 on down is going to be low nicotine. For people who are not sub ohm vaping and stay around 10-25 Watts it is not unusual to use a juice that is about as potent as a cigarette. That would be the 12/18/24-ish juices. So for a Newport branded juice that is meant to be used in vapes that closely mimic cigarette smoking you are looking at around an 18. That's 18 mgs of nicotine per milliliter of juice.

Isn't "18" 1.8 mg/ mL? I used to smoke Newports and I used to smoke 1.8 mg/ mL juice. 18.0 would be hellfire, haha. Here is the juice that I run through my Nautilus (which I use at 12-14 watts):

This, at 1.6 mimics a cigarette perfectly, from mouth to lung inhalation and throat hit.

When I use a subohm tank, I use .3 or .6 depending on if it is my drinking vape, or my "get my nic" vape. When I drink I prefer to be able to pull more often and receive less nicotine while doing so.

His company is offering a 1.5 nic level, so when you take into account that 18 = 1.8, 1.5 = .15, which makes sense, since it is the closest to 0 nic they offer.

Juice marked as "1.6" is typically 16 milligrams per milliliter. I think they started using decimals to express that the number represents a ratio. So, if you are using a 0.3 or 0.6, you are vaping at 3 or 6 milligrams per milliliter. I started using nothing but sub ohm coils at the beginning of last year so when I say my liquid is 5 or under I mean that I don't go over 5 milligrams per milliliter, or 0.5 using the labeling convention from that bottle.

Honestly, I was really concerned I was wrong, considering you make your own juices, but I think there may be a translation issue between us. What I've read, and I'll double check after this post, is that the "18" is 18mg/ 10mL, which would translate to 1.8 mg/ mL. Allow me to double check.

We're often asked exactly what 12mg or 24mg strengths mean for nicotine.
In short, it's the amount of nicotine in milligrams, for each millilitre of E-Liquid, expressed as mg/ml.
Some companies choose to represent this as a percent per solution, which is where you'll see 1.2% instead of 12mg/ml.
This means the same thing, just interpreted differently.
TOmato; tomAto. It's all the same. I was wrong, apologies. But, I think the point still stands in their translation of nicotine. 1.5 is pretty damn low. Congrats and best of luck kicking nicotine to the curb.

As I recall the whole number is mg/ml. It's been a while since I paid attention to the formulas though so I may be wrong. I tend to grab a high nic juice and use it to "flavor" my 0 nic fluids, so I'm mixing by ear these days.
