2019 Free agency Thread
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research. https://overthecap.com/ |

They can absolutely afford Clark. It’s all about the structure of the contracts year by year.
“But Pat is making $35 million next year!!!” No he’s ****ing not. It’s going to be backloaded. FFS Russell Wilson just got the biggest deal in NFL history and he won’t even be making $35 million to their cap until 2022. And his deal was only 4 years where Pat’s should be at least 6.

I wouldn’t want to be Veach this week. Talk about pressure. Boy there are a lot of moving parts with the Chiefs heading into the Fall....

He's usually confused. I'ts amusing. "Follow the conversation" (trying to throw that back at me because I always have to tell him that) and being the one who couldn't follow along... Last edited by SAUTO; 04-22-2019 at 09:09 AM.. |

Going all in? Keep all your draft picks and don’t cut Houston, then. It might not work out as well as Clark, but either way we owe mega millions to somebody. I’d rather risk it on Houston transitioning to DE than giving up a 1 and 2 |

Seattle can get ****ed. I'm not thinking about a Clark trade until after this draft.

Just think about the pass rusher the Chiefs could get if they used their 1st and 2nd to trade up this year, and then consider how much cheaper that pass rusher would be for the next 5 years and presumably not have any known off field issues.

Jerry Tillery has 8 pre draft visits. The Chiefs were one of those visits
