Not sure on the specifics, but it likely puts him in the top 25 or so of ALL QBs, if that helps.

I don't think I'd take a Louisville threat seriously. Football is secondary at Louisville, what they can afford will be difficult since they have to pay out Petrino and they still have the whole Pitino mess.
The program is a total shit heap that he'd have to rebuild from nothing. |

But in all reality you can tell Odom's agent is trying for a pay raise. Louisville job, big article in the Post-Dispatch as well.
https://www.stltoday.com/sports/colu...67cb9f066.html I could also see Odom looking to get out before the fire gets to hot. |

BTW I'm not claiming to be an insider or have info or anything but I was talking to a buddy of mine that lives in STL last night about this...
He wines and dines with Mizzou big wigs, donors, etc. and basically told me Odom isn't the "Mizzou true son" all the local media love to make him out to be and would leave Mizzou in a heartbeat for the right offer....lateral or not. I'm not saying he's leaving for Louisville or Colorado but I don't see it as 100% he'll stay just because Mizzou is his alma mater. |

Scary thought. Sterk’s hiring record with football coaches isn’t good. Granted, it was Washington State, but it still is sobering to look at who he has hired for football. I also have been told Brady Hoke is on his list of potential replacements. Which is terrifying. Quote:
As he should at this point. He’s the lowest paid coach in the SEC and has the smallest assistant pool. That needs to be corrected.

I want better recruiting, too. But he also has done a very nice job in finding underrated guys. Which is a key part of being successful at Missouri. You’re never going to consistently land top 15 classes somewhere like Mizzou, so it’s critical to be in the 20-35 range and pop some real contributors out of the 3-star and 2-star tiers. Keys for success for a Missouri coach, IMO: 1) the point made above 2) get a good share of in-State kids you want (75 percent or better). Pinkel did this, Odom has not. Some of that is his staff. Some of that is the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Some of it is that St. Louis is a shithole with weird attitudes. 3) excel at player development I think Odom is showing progress at 1 and 3. Enough that I’m willing to give him a few more years to get 2 rolling. Success and stability help a lot with that, too.
