Alex Smith is a damn good QB

Just look at some of the numbers around the league today. We're lucky to have him as our QB.

Sighs. Yeah.

I just wish all of these kaepersexuals would all just die. Really, I totally get how the people here hated me when I first came here.

I get it. I really do.

John Lynch was Crushing this ass hat during the game.

He showed it. It was too the same side of the field. he never came off of boldin, and Crabtree is running down the left side by himself no one within 20 yards of him, and he still tried to throw it right to Boldin for an incompletion. He is absolute trash. He has a hell of an arm for distance shit, but he still cant read defense, and now he cant handle pressure either. He is a walking dumpster fire.

**** him, **** the guys that defend him, **** em all.

That Bills defense beat Alex like a red headed step child yesterday. And he still kept coming back. I'm proud to have him as our QB.

Yeah...I thought that was pretty amazing. He didn't start throwing picks and fumbling. He just played his game consistent and remained patient. That's basically how these Chiefs play ball. Its a methodical dink and dunk, mistake free game. They are just waiting for the other side to make a mistake and then they pounce.

This. I don't really have feeling for Kap one way or another. He's a downgrade from Alex. That arm and his mobility made him look really good till teams had film on him. Bad for my 9ers, good for the Chiefs, I guess.

The question I'd pose at this point for even the staunchest hater. If thing fall apart for the Chiefs going down the stretch, do you sense it will be because the defense falls off or if the offense falls off?

The binary of efficiency versus swashbuckling seems to ignore the additional factor of reliability.

Can it be because we're up against a guantlet of teams who are fighting to secure their own playoff spots?

Seahawks are fighting to hold off the 49ers and catch the Cardinals.

Cardinals are clawing to stay ahead in that division.

Steelers are fighting for their own playoff hopes.

Chargers are in the same position.

Denver wants to stay ahead of us.

Raiders are hell-bent on not going 0-16.

There really are no easy games.

Defense.

That o-line can't "fall" any further. Unpossible.

I'm not talking about any and every loss, I'm talking about if things fall apart.

Whoops..14-32....Awesome.
Boldin, 6 drops. A career high. That is just for starters.

And did you know the 49ers offensive line is 31st in pass protection? KC is a rocking 16th in pass protection.

LOL. Nice spin. It won the game for the 49ers by forcing overtime.

I'm out. It is an Alex thread not a Kap thread. I was just responding to one post. That pass was a thing of beauty. Alex does that in his sleep, right?

Go ahead and have the last word. I'm out. Not a Kap thread.

Because alex Smith can read defenses, and gets the ball out.

If you're being honest with yourself, you'd know that KC's oline has been hiding behind scheme all year long. To even suggest that the niners line is somehow inferior to the slap dicks (no offense CP) KC has duck taped together this year is laughable. The Chiefs o line is ranked 16 in pass protection because of the fact that Reid and Smith know that they are terrible and therefore make sure that Smith is getting the ball out as fast as possible. The niners would do well to adopt a similar style for a while until their oline figures out what is causing their obvious regression of late. Just don't know if Kap has the patience to not constantly look for the home run ball.
