Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

Or maybe he honestly means what he is saying? I happen to agree wirh him, only I'd like to see him go to Houston or Denver. Some of these Romo homo's and even the trolls in this thread don't seem to understand is that Romo is done, anything you trade for him is wasted, the time it takes him to learn the system with your first team is wasted, a disruption to a qb who should be getting reps and your team as a whole, not to mention a waste of money.

I'll give him 6 games at most, just enough to fuck up the chemistry of the team.

Read the comments at the bottom of the article. Good to know fans outside of CP can actually recognize that Smith is a very capable QB
NO HE IS NOT!!! Stop being such a ****ing Smith homer. He's not capable of anything at the QB position besides being a place holder. Smith sucks. Last year proved it's time to move on.

We'd be better off just starting Mahomes right out the gate. I would have respected Peter King more if he had said that the writing on the wall is already written as far as injuries go for Romo. And that Reid had already said twice that Alex is his qb, which ends this pathetic story.

Me too, but true fans wouldn't have the patience for that.

I don't put much stock in that at all. It's just coach speak. Alex is his qb (until something better comes along).

He's supposed to say Alex is his guy, no coach has ever said,"**** that guy, I gotta find someone better!" About their starting quarterback.

I tend to believe Andy Reid even more the second time. Reid has dreamed of Alex running his system going back to when he was the coach of the Eagles, and I doubt he gives up on him after 4 years. But, I hope I'm wrong especially if we draft a qb high in the draft, this would push the Chiefs forward in the future.

I'm not trolling, but the way Hali's contract situation was handled last year made no sense whatsoever. Dorsey shouldn't have tried to sign Hali after eating all that dead money last year.

Per rotoworld - Chiefs OLB Tamba Hali plans to continue his playing career in 2017. Hali turned 33 last month but is coming off another strong season. Despite notching just 3.5 sacks, Hali rang up 43 total pressures and was Pro Football Focus' No. 13-ranked 3-4 outside linebacker among 59 qualifiers. Hali played just seven snaps in the Divisional Round loss to the Steelers, however, and will likely take a back seat to Dee Ford and Justin Houston next season. Jan 16 - 11:13 AM

I think he will be fine as a rotational player if he has another year left in him, Ford wasn't a game changer the last part of the season.

The national media via talk radio is mentioning Romo to the Chiefs more and more. I don't know, but that's rather peculiar.

Hali needs to hang the cleats up. He's a shell.
