Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Yep, purple gear is what you want.

(there's also yellow, aka exotic, but you can only equip one exotic weapon and one exotic piece of armor).

Thats odd to me then. I had some really good purple gear but the light blue gear dwarfed it in effectiveness when I hit 20. I haven't found a single purple item that comes close to my light blue gear.

Once you hit 20, the most important stat on your armor is the +Light. Thats the only stat that makes you level higher past 20. It's impossible for rare armor to have better +Light than legendary.

If I get on just give me a shout. Your best bet is to do strike playlist and hope you get something good. Night falls and heroics are good also depending on your level. What level are you?

I should be around some this evening (probably like 5-8 or so EST) and most of the day Friday. I may be on briefly early tomorrow (4-6ish) and sporadically Wednesday during the day.

most of my gaming opportunities this week will be thursday, friday and saturday. I have all off from work for a 4 day weekend.

Finally got the dragons breathe, and got my chest piece for my Hunter. So I can get two of my three characters up to 32 now. Just need some stuff for my warlock.

I've been wrecking Crota with the sword as a 32. With a good team and above average timing he's dead before the Ogres show up. Playing conservatively takes 3 swords.

All kinds of rumors today. Next dlc in March (no surprise there). Large scale expansion in September culminating in a raid on board a hive ship (which will also be a patrol map). New class specialties and a couple new weapon types plus a dozen new story missions. Basically Destiny 1.5. New expansion pass covering two early 2016 dlc. And then Destiny 2 in late 2016 or early 2017.

That shit should be a standard dlc for any game with mmo in it.. The standard game should of had 150-200 hours of story gameplay then 20+hours worth of dlc story.. Still a waste of money.

And sadly certain people are thinking that is amazing. Shit like this hurts consumers..

Yeah, I just don't see myself purchasing anymore because this is the exact shit I was afraid would happen to games.
