All the college basketball "experts" I have heard say offer Marshall 4-5 mil and he's yours. College basketball is funny all you have to do is spend a little money and you will make the tournament on a consistent basis. It's pretty amazing how many schools just don't give a damn about their basketball programs.

I just want to point this out:

Anderson got $1.1 million annually for 5 years. He also got a house and membership at Old Hawthorne, along with several other ancillary benefits I'm not aware of.

But let's break this down:

For $5.5 million, Missouri got:

26 wins
8 conference wins
3 last place finishes in a 14 team league
13 transfers or dismissals

He made over $200,000 per win, and almost $700,000 for every conference game he won.

But at least he was able to secure our future by bringing in NBA-quality in-state players like Cullen Van Leer and Kevin Puryear instead of scrubs like Tatum, Porter, or OJ Anunoby.
