Some people complain of "vaper's tongue" from using the same juice too often. They lose the flavor, but it comes back if you change your flavor. I showed you the ecto cooler flavor, right?

Also, are you using the BVC coils or the usual one? The pack will have a yellow circle saying BVC if so.

My order came in today while I was at work. I swapped it out and tried one a few minutes ago. I am picking up some crazy flavor notes in my liquid now. |

Have you ever had a really good pumpkin pie? The kind that Grandma makes and she won't tell anyone the recipe, the kind that she only makes for Thanksgiving? And then when you try any other pumpkin pie it's good but it just never tastes quite as good as Grandma's pumpkin pie? That's what this atomizer is doing to my liquid.

Yeah, If your using any Atlantis coil compatible tank these are the coils you need to use, otherwise your getting a muted flavor and dont even know it. |

Question for anyone in the thread that has a pretty good base of knowledge on the whole vaping market, if you would be so kind as to share. Anyone is welcome to chime in, really.
I'm generally familiar with a good amount of various makers and all, but I don't have really much hands on experience with them to actually have an informed opinion on how they compare to one another. It's also tough to get reliable information on them comparatively because so many of the "review" sites seem to be done by sellers that just use it to drive traffic by linking each of the devices to their website to sell to you. I'm sure there are 3rd party objective reviews out there, I'm just not finding them. So... If money / cost wasn't an issue and price didn't matter, what would be your top 3-4 mods and tanks you would choose personally?

Here's a guy, P Busardo, that seems to cover a lot of mods/tanks and doesn't have as much bias or fanboi goofiness as I've seen in other reviewers:

This looks pretty interesting - the new KangerTech NEBOX
It's got an internal tank that holds 10ml!

That said, what have been some of your favorite devices. In some ways, I guess it is really more all about the tank. That's the delivery part of the device, and it's performance ultimately makes or breaks the experience. I'm less concerned with having a gigantic tank. Anything over 3 is pretty good though I'd probably prefer something that is at least 5. More importantly, is finding a tank that the heads don't go downhill so fast. If I have a 5ml tank am I just being absurd to think I can fill it up 6 or 7 times and still get a good clean pull out of it? Am I better off accepting it needs to be swapped after about 4 tank refills? So what have been some of your favorite mods you've used and tanks?

I haven't tried it yet but Keystone Vapor is selling 30ml of Nates Nector for $9.95 today only. It has gotten really good reviews on juicedb.com if anyone is interested. You can use promo code: Keystone10 at checkout to get 10% off your order as well. They only offer 50/50 PG/VG, 30/70 PG/VG, and max VG juices...

I would completely skip over any "e-cig." That's the little tube with a screw-on piece that holds the liquid. They are crap because the device is just too weak. So for a starter "mod" I would recommend the current iteration of the Innokin VV. I think it is up to 4th edition now. I'd pair that with a mini-Nautilus. Next up would be a mod with built in battery. I'd stay with Innokin and go with their MVP. Last I checked it is up to version 2.0 now and for that I'd grab an Aspire Atlantis tank. You could go with the Atlantis 2.0 or the Atlantis Mega. Next up would be a mod with removable batteries. I like Sigelei because their mods are sturdy, dependable and utilitarian. I use the Sigelei 100W+ and you can get one pretty cheap these days. I'd stick with that Atlantis because it functions well and atomizers are easy to get. There are mods (including Sigelei) that go well beyond 100 watts and/or offer Temperature Control. I find that I don't ever go anywhere near the limit of my device (100 watts) so I'm not interested in anything more powerful. If you are doing this to avoid smoking then you will probably have the same experience. I don't trust the materials in Temp Control atomizers. Most of them use nickel and I won't (possibly) introduce that into my vape for minimal gain in performance. So: 0) **** the e-cigs, they're shit. 1) Innokin VV 4.0 with a Mini Nautilus. 2) Innokin MVP 2.0 with an Aspire Atlantis (2.0 or Mega) 3) Sigelei 100w+ (you could go higher wattage but you probably won't use it) with that same tank (you'll need batteries and a charger). After that you can get as goofy and as expensive as you want, but you aren't doing it to avoid smoking. You're doing it because you have a new hobby. I am using an original Aspire Atlantis with an addon that brings it up to 5 ml. I've seen one that will bring it to 7. If you're looking for a larger tank go with the new Aspire Atlantis Mega. |
