Yep... that is the key.. if you are football fan bet on baseball games and vice versa... That's the best way to do it.

I like to bet friends who I know don't follow sports like I do. That way you can go straight up with no spread and none of this bet $110 to win $100 BS.

I will bet on 'trap games' from time to time. I'll see a spread that looks ridiculous and looks like free money. I'll bet on the team that I logically think has no chance to cover the spread. Makes no sense but these guys making the lines are smarter than me. They are trying to trick me into betting on a team that I think should win easily when they know something I don't. I try use their own strategy against them but I do that very very rarely... Still risky...

Rigged isn't the right wording. It's pretty obvious selective enforcement of rules are used to slant games a certain direction.

1993 was long before the "Monster that ate the NFL"...The league/owners are beholden to their network deals now and is the primary source of revenue. Dont forget that the NFL is a monopoly...an entertainment one at that. Tom Brady cant just take his resume and play somewhere else...unless you consider Canada a realistic option. The owners make the rules...and can bend them when it's advantageous. It's not illegal for them to fix outcomes and their is no 3rd party oversight. They can literally do what ever they want....

NFL officials arent an impartial, independent police group...they are hired/controlled but the league. The owners are their boss...and they are simply employees. They have to sign a confidentiality agreement...a "gag order" where they can be sued for speaking publicly about anything that goes on.

Why hasn't the NFL let teams challenge Pass Interference yet? It's the ultimate call that can decide a game, and it's unchangeable.
