Tacos.

How do you do 'em? Beef, chicken, pork, fish? How do you season the protein? What kind of toppings? Crunchy or soft shells? Is there a difference between a soft taco and a small burrito?

Hey bud stick some beans on the outside of that shell and wrap a flour tortilla around it. Slam that doubledecker and thank me later!

I probably make tacos twice a week. Usually fish, but lately we have been making ground turkey meat and home-made "refried" beans. With all the taco seasoning, the ground turkey is pretty good actually and only slightly healthier.

I always use soft flour taco shells though.

My bad, men. I remember the conversation about the merits of cilantro and one of you posted the article about the genetic condition that makes cilantro taste like soap. I remember the action and the dudes involved. I'm proud I remembered that much.

I think my ratio of tacos to burgers is about 1:1. We enjoy both and make them about every week whether it's turkey or beef for each. Ground turkey tacos are actually pretty delicious for an alternative.

If I'm making tacos at the house - I'll use McCormick taco seasoning, ground sirloin, very thin lettuce, sharp cheddar, onions (chopped), raw, sour cream, fresh tomato diced, and a simple sauce in which is smooth - such as the original Ortega - again, I've been lynched on CP for how I like a tacos in the past. But It's just my first choice, and mostly because of how we ate tacos, growing up.

Never was a fan of ground turkey or turkey bacon. I think it's a texture thing for me. I haven't had it in years, maybe I've changed and will try it again.

Grilled and diced chicken breast tacos rule.

Steam or pan warm corn tortillas, throw in some avocado slices, chopped onions and cilantro topped with freshly made pico.

Healthy, fresh and very flavorful.

Turkey bacon is nasty. Ground turkey is much different.

And, I'm not saying I like the ground turkey the best by any means. I prefer shrimp and chicken tacos as the best, but as a fast and quick alternative, we use ground turkey from time to time. Put an 8oz can of tomato sauce in at the end and it's pretty good.

Big fan of Pico on all tacos too.

Yeah same here, if I'm making tacos I'm going straight to carne asada. I never made al pastor (which is my favorite) I tend to order those before carne asada while dining out. I need to find a good way to make al pastor.
