Who is still on the Alex Smith bandwagon?

Since the Denver game many of the Smith apologists threw up the white flag and surrendered to reality. I was wondering how many brave souls are left circling the wagons in defense of Alex. Who still thinks Smith is good enough of a QB to lead a team to the Super Bowl? Sandy? Saccapoo? Marcellus? Bueller?

Reid either needs to force Smith to execute or make a QB change. If he ccontinues to do neither, he is just as much or more to blame than Smith. Can't have it both ways and praise the sole reason Smith is regressing to shit wile ripping Smith for not being forced to change.

TEN GAMES last year he threw for under 250 yards.
6 games last year he had under 200 yards AND under 20 completions.

There were no garbage time stats. His stats sucked the whole game.

Maclin being a much better WR than Bowe doesn't make Smith a good QB...

They kept pretty much every game close that they lost last year.

I agree on a QB change. You can't force someone to make reads.. they either do or they don't. The plays/passing concepts aren't the problem; receivers are open (as evidenced in multiple threads). Alex is just not making the right reads. Instead of taking advantage of the blitz and throwing hot, he gets scared and has happy feet.

So Reid just needs to call Hail Mary passes every iffensive play to make sure Alex doesn't check down?? Brilliant game plan!

Should be basically all of us since we're mostly Chiefs fans. Even saying "there's always next year" shows a learning disability as Chiefs fans.

This talk of needing perfection is hyperbolic slop.
You don't watch any other games, do you?

The OLs around the league are garbage.
There are only a handful of lines that are any good.

Alex Smith, however, makes O-Lines look worse than they are, and he always has.

He has taken a higher percentage of sacks than almost every other QB since he came into the league, regardless of who he has in front of him.

He can't read defenses, he has no pocket awareness, he reacts to phantom pressure, and is virtually useless as a passer the moment he starts moving.

If all this you are saying is true.... Then Andy is even more of the suspected God dammed moron we all knew he was...

JFC you want to hitch the end of your career and disastrous play calling to a QB of this caliber? No wonder Philly fans are still laughing at him to this day.
