RIP Leonard, a true icon.
Always loved "In Search Of", that was probably the first show of its kind... very cool, ahead of its time. |

To me, Nimoy is Galvatron, not Spock.

Mostly react to various celebrity death news as that sucks and move on without thinking a whole lot about it. Bit more of a bummer to see his passing though. Not only from his work but from him at least seeming to be a great guy as well.

What the ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in an IM at work today and somebody chimed in with "Mr. Spock died", and my asshole self (not knowing it wasn't a joke) replied with, "At least they sent him to a pretty planet to rot." I feel like an asshole now! I need to keep the TV on! It's a F'n big screen but it was off. Failure, pure failure! |

It is remarkable that a TV series that was on for just 3 seasons has resonated so deeply with so many for so long and continues to do so. And look at all the tech we have today that was inspired by things on the series: cell phones, blue tooth, personal computers, CT scanners, and so much more. To quote Spock, "Fascinating."
