2015 Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalists

I don't think we've discussed this yet, so here you go. Up to five of these guys (plus the one senior candidate) can go in. You make the vote when the poll goes up and I release white smoke from the chimney.

The semifinalist list is here if you want to see who got snubbed, which is mostly Albert Lewis, Everson Walls, Clay Matthews, Joe Jacoby, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and Randall Cunningham: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showt...php?p=10938513

Edit: Two other finalists weren't in the poll because the profootballhof listed them separately. Bill Polian and Ron Wolf are also finalists if you want to vote for them as write-ins.

Coryell deserves to go in before Wolf and Polian. (Actually, all of them)

I agree completely. His legacy is amazing, which also includes multiple Super Bowl wins.

It's a ****ing joke he didn't get in first ballot. Warner, fine, I understand. His case is definitely more difficult to argue for. However, Pace has a ****ing stat invented after him and was dominant for a decade.

The Bettis selection is very troubling but it opens the door to several other mediocre running backs that surpassed 10,000 yards in rushing.

I think Warner should go before Pace, but believe that both will get in soon.

Warner's career was a storybook fable.

Pace's career was expected.

Where do you see Pace among OTs all-time? Is he a top 5 OT ever? Top 10? Not even?

I think Warner has a harder case to make because from 2003-2006, he did not play at the level he played from 1999-2002 and 2007-2009. But he did resurrect 2 different franchises, which I think should lead to him being recognized in Canton.

But Pace was arguably one of, if not the, best players at his position from 1997-2006.

My opinion was that he was a very, very, very good left tackle but I'd venture to guess, based on my memory, that's he's outside of the Top 10.

Maybe it's because he was so smooth, maybe it's because Kurt Warner had such a quick a release but after Kurt, there wasn't a lot of success in the running game or passing game, so it's difficult for me, off the top of my head, to say he's an all time great.

Compare that to Will Shields, where no matter who ran the ball or passed, the QB wasn't getting sacked and the backs were always picking up huge yards.

Different position, I know but if we're talking Hall of Fame...

Kurt Warner went from sacker to the World League to breaking Marino's records, leading a crap franchise to two Super Bowls, with one win, to leading yet another crap franchise to within 2 minutes a Super Bowl win.

Orlando Pace's record in comparison is a joke. Left tackles don't win Super Bowls.
