Dalton is decent, but no way is he better than Smith.

I wish we could claim that all these recent QB contracts were just outlandish deals, and that Cincy and Chicago shouldn't be a measuring stick for Smith because those deals were crazy, but each one that comes in weakens that argument.

Well, you could always throw money at the problem like Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, Cincinatti, etc. and hope it works out just as well for you as it has for them.

Or you could say **** that and go with a cheaper option that you drafted. Like say... Seattle.
