In the history of the NFL a QB has been selected 31 times #1 overall. Thats 8 more times than the second most picked position. Just stfu. |

There's a big gap between 1989 and 2001, more than enough time for a trend to change. Remember, the Patriots coaching staff got most of the credit early on for their success. Brady only started receiving the praise he gets now after the third SB win, when Weis was at Notre Dame and the Pats defense was beginning to crumble.

Guys that are passed on at least once by 32 teams dont stand a chance at being good in this day and age. Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Russel Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, Nick Foles, Andy Dalton... all garbage because we know that NFL GM's are never wrong. |

So every front office in the NFL feels confident enough to leave a possible franchise QB on the draft board because they think he'll be available in the second round? You're arguing that Bridgewater is at least very talented as a football player, which I agree with. My point is that he shouldn't be dropping like this with what we know. His measurables, while not ideal, aren't bad. His pro day performance wasn't great, but he shouldn't fall as far as he has based on that alone.

The dude has been nothing but clutch in his college career. That is the it factor. Let him ride behind Alex for two years, then deal Alex to some QB desperate team and roll with the new franchise QB.

OMG GUIZ, HE'S NOT A PERFECT QB PROSPECT AT PICK 23. PASS! Seriously, if a bad pro day is what drops him to 23, call me crazy for trusting the years of tape.
