I voted yes because I don't think the FO views any of the players as someone they can't pass on. I think we will trade down and trade Albert. We will end up with 2 - 2cd round picks.

I don't know that we can or will be able to get a 1st next year along with a 2cd this year. I think we should normally be able to get that level of compensation or more really. This year though.....there isn't hype about any player that is just off the charts as it has in yearS past.

Maclin will be going into the last year of his rookie contract. So it would be a one year deal unless Maclin would want to sign a reasonable contract.

Yeah that is why I think they would be willing to include him in part of a trade offer.

i think they pretty much have to

They are trying to do what the Rams did.

If the stay at #1 and don't take a QB they will forever be haunted by any success that the QB's have. If the trade for Smith and then trade out of pick #1 then they can sort of avoid the entire QB pick issue.

They are hoping that the market for Geno Smith goes nuts and they get several picks.

trade down once or twice, select Fisher and put him at RT.

If they aren't going QB - get Austin. Multi year All Pro/Barry Sanders of WR's.

Well if he is willing to sign a reasonable contract why wouldn't the Eagles want to keep him? The value of Maclin for one year is very low. I would rather have a pick than Maclin.

I am not suggesting that he would sign a reasonable offer. Only that he has one year left on his contract.

I would rather draft Austin then trade for Maclin but both were accomplished college WR's.

Because you are paying more for a known commodity.

Because you don't get ANY better by letting players go and then painting yourself into a corner and drafting their replacement.

Because LT can bust just as easily as any other position.

Because great teams aren't built around LTs, no matter what Sandra Bullock tells you.

I put no, but not because they dont want to. No one wants to trade up.......

Unless someone gets really desperate. You know, like Bruce Arians looks at his Depth chart and realizes he has drew stanton, and jake skelton........

@evansilva: Geno. #Raiders.

@evansilva: #Cardinals. RT @AdamSchefter "Highly unlikely" Carson Palmer will be willing to restructure contract meaning OAK pays him $13N or cuts him.

Of course Silva says that. He picked Geno to the Raiders in his horrible mock.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
