We have something like 35 million under the cap i think. 5 of that is for draft so thats 30.

You know we aren't spending all of that this offseason.


Take 12 of that and give to Carr. Takes you to 18 million.


We could def. sign some people with that, but no way you could get multiple guys much less top guys at their position.


Again, I would love to keep Carr. I'm just saying I get the business side of it.

Carlos Rogers just signed a deal for 7.3mil a year. Carlos Rogers is 30 years old and worse than Carr, AND Routt.

Carr is going to get that 13 mil that was rumored a month or two ago.

Im not saying he is not. I just dont think having 2 #1cbs (and paid like them) in Flowers and Carr is smart financially for the future.

If he's going to be your clear #1, then yes, but in our situation where he was going to be the #2 ( I know, I know, there is only a RCB and a LCB here, but Carr was clearly going against #2 WRs the majority of the time) paying him that much when you've already paid Flowers doesn't make a lot of sense.
