My favorite was the guy that showed up with the ejection seat out of an F-4, saying it was WWII era, and how his grandpa willed it to him. If THAT wasn't staged, then nothing on any of these shows has ever been staged.

I somehow got sucked into that live bike build challenge that aired last night as well. That sucked ass as well.

I laugh at these silly competitions, particularly because nobody understands what Jesse is doing and recognizes how unbelievably difficult it is. The fact that second place went to a customized factory harley pretty much says it all.

I used to love watching AMerican Chopper; now it's comical. Yeah, get a pre-made frame; throw a fender and a gas tank on it along with some reeruned looking accesories...........CUSTOM BIKE!

Yeah. I like the Grease Monkey guys better than the rest of the douchebags, but their bike was elementary compared to what the others did. Jesse James is an artist, but he's also a ****ing dick.

James can take a flat piece of sheet metal and with a hammer, sandbag and English wheel can message it into a fuel tank or fender. Paul Jr. typically takes a tank that someone else built, puts it on a frame that someone else built and about the only thing he actually fabricates is some bolt on chrome trinkets. That about how it went?

There's a lot to like about Brandi. I have a feeling that it won't be long before somebody steals her away from that junk dealer she's currently living with. All it's going to take is a higher bid, I'm afraid.

If I remember correctly, Jesse asked Jr. how far he could go on a tank of gas and Jr. said about 20 miles. Apparently, Jr. built another bike that can't actually do anything useful.
I remember watching "the making of" one of their promo deals (it was a video shoot of some sort) and Jr. was riding his famous spider bike on some nice, even, flat blacktop and the webbing started falling off. They had to stop production until somebody could come up with a wrench and a ball-pein hammer so he could fix it. FAX |

lol. nice.
when American Chopper first came out, it was really great to watch. now it's just a 1 hour long commercial for whatever company they're builing a 'custom' bike for. and that Jason Poole kid, who 'designs' them, needs to get another occupation. because he sucks at it. his 'renderings' look almost cartoonish.
