Maybe he wants an offset?

I agree, it doesn't make sense and it's not helpful for him to miss this OTA, even though it's only 3 days.

They need to get every rep they can with Russel against Maclin.

The regular season is right around the corner and Russel has the talent to be the teams #2 CB. He needs to get to OTAs ASAP

Still think Gaines starts outside week 1 and Russell either starts in the slot or rotates. Gaines has never gotten burned like Fleming/Cooper and he's got the excellent athleticism to add to that experience.

Russell needs to get his ass signed and on the field. The more he misses, the more likely he sits the bench opening day.

You guys will be surprised by March. I don't think the Arizona preseason game was the first time this guy dominated.
Andy and Dorsey were raving about his coverage ability in training camp last year. Add his physical aggressive mentality and you've got a big upgrade to Mauga.

Can't wait to see this guy on the field

For me, there really is no position that isn't going to be of great interest, but I do agree that the young ILBs will be fun to watch. CB, WR, OG, ILB, and maybe even the younger OLBs. Can't wait to see more, and am taking an early stance in not picking favorites.

Terez reporting cooper also seeing some time at safety. With his size and athleticism that makes sense

I've never understood why teams don't try CBs who underachieve at safety more often. I know they all don't have the size or skill set but give it a shot anyway. Might have a gem on your hands.

Being promoted on the roster is never a bad thing. Now it's up to Bray to earn that spot.

We all know he has the arm talent. We don't know if he's developed that 10cent head and carelessness with the ball.
Actually, I'm pretty sure the talk early last year was that they were extremely happy with his progression on knowing and running the offense.

I feel comfortable with Peters, Gaines and Parker at CB BC they're proven. Add in a 2nd year Nelson and a highly regarded Russell and it makes me feel better about this position than at any point under this regime.
