They obviously feel better about ILB and edge rusher depth than I do but other than that there is t much to complain about so far.

Just watched the WR's:

The only two worth watching are Gehrig Deiter and Marcus Kemp.

Deiter is pretty fluid, and I normally hate white WR's - except for Jordy. Kemp is a body catcher, but his size and YAC skills are pretty impressive.

Will be interesting to see if either of these guys can churn the bottom of the WR deapth chart.

As it is:

Maclin - Lock
Hill - Lock
Conley - Lock
Chesson - Lock
Wilson - 70/30
Robinson - 60/40 (Young, Special Teamer)
DAT - 25/75

IMO Robinson will make it due to the STs, which pushes Wilson and DAT fighting off all the UDFA for one spot. I really hope we get a hit with the UDFA guys, would much prefer both wilson and thomas to go away.

OP updated with the vids...

I didn't use the spoiler tags, though.

Thanks for updating.

Spoiler tags are important because they keep the OP smaller (scrolling forever blows), and also because the page loads like shit when there's dozens of embedded videos trying to load.

If you quote my post, then c/p it into the OP, it should keep things fast, nice and tidy. If not, no worries.

I quoted and c/p'd your post, but the only thing that showed up in the quote was, "Offense, Defense, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, etc." which was nice because it gave me a template to work with, but I ended up just manually going through and embedding the highlight vids.

I'll get on the spoiler tags here in a bit... have to finish making my daughters supper.

This Nathan Dowling long snapper dude seems to be the "Trick Shot Tanney" of long snappers.

I think signing all these guys is an indication that Dorsey/Reid realize that they still have some significant holes to fill.

I still think we have issues at cornerback. If Mike Williams is as good as advertise we might have real issues against the Chargers with a healthy Allen and Williams.

Maclin quitting last year was a red flag about needing more depth and options at the WR position.

A couple of TEs and a couple of Guards are also at positions we need more options.

People said we had too many draft picks to fit on a team yet Dorsey went out and got a big crop of UDFA as well. Time to cut the chaff on this team and get rid of average players making above-average money.

Right. Because the Chiefs (and every other team) don't do this every year.

Also, some of these guys aren't actually signed. They were just invited to try out during the rookie mini-camp. You need enough bodies to make the rookie mini-camp worth it.

90 bodies to camp. Nothing new here. This is a really average size of UDFA's.

The key is finding some UDFA's that have something to work with.

Remember when Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards brought in like 50 or some such shit. Everybody was all like "LOOK AT THIS GUY. NO STONE UNTURNED DUR."

Turns out they were all worthless, same with most of his draft picks and FA acquisitions.

Numbers don't matter. Filling a roster does. Dorsey has shown he can do that. IMO he's earned some rope.

REMINDER: **** Squirmin Herman Mother****ing Sack of **** Edwards.
