Dee Milliner

*IF* it isn't to be Geno...would you be okay with D. Milliner #1 overall?

Evan Silva ‏@evansilva
#Alabama CB Dee Milliner's two 40 times: 4.37, 4.31. Sick speed for a built-up, 6-foot, 201-pound corner.

Sam Mellinger ‏@mellinger
I would've been w/o the 40. MT @nate_bukaty Am I overreacting to this 40 time to be more excited for Chiefs to take Milliner than Joekel?

We've spent 30 years trying to cash in on exceptions.

In case you haven't noticed, we're the WORST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE over the past decade and last year's team was one of the worst OF ALL TIME.

Enough with the ****ing exceptions, IT DOESN'T WORK.

No. But I'd also openly admit that not many teams have two #1 CBs. Maybe the Seahawks of this year?

I'm just talking football now, not what KC should do necessarily. It's very possible to win in this league w/ two #1 CBs.

Yeah, you have to have 2 good corners. Frankly, I'd rather have CB 1a and 1b.

I really want to take a CB in this loaded class and I think barring us looking for that in free agency, we probably will.

I'm cool with having two great corners... if we also have a QB.

Same here. Milliner's speed will separate him from the rest of the class, but I don't necessarily think he's the best "cover" CB in this draft class. Johnthan Banks is a tall, tough press corner that I like. He was a little slow today (like 4.55), but guys like Haden and Flowers were also in that range. Top of the 2nd would be a great spot to draft him if he's there.

What's your point? They still have two #1 CBs. That's all I was saying. I could give two shits as to where they drafted them.

There will be 2 or 3 guys that might be there at 2.2. That is a premium pick if we're targeting a CB.

Neither the Jets or the Seahawks wasted a top 5 pick on a ****ing CB. Shit....the Jets have two 1st round CBs on their team. One of them signed in FA.

So it doesn't matter who we take at 1.1 then? Let's take a guard!
