Wessel is one of our best perimeter defenders and an amazing energy guy. Should he be at the 4? No. But he's far from worthless.

I guess I don't agree with the Wessel evaluation at all.

He definitely shouldn't ever shoot the ball.

I don't think anyone is gonna say that he's shooting well this year. He shot very well his sophomore year until his injury and since that, he hasn't shot well.

I sit very close to the basket at home games, and I can't even count how many plays there have been where Wessel is in a huge group of people and either gets the rebound, or tips it up and someone else on the team grabs it. I will keep the "hating" to myself. I just think (or wish) there were better options.

I think he's starting to get hot at the right time. Sometimes teams peak too early, like the 11-12 team, but I feel like this team is starting to peak right when it matters most.
