How can anyone believe Aaron Murray is the future? The kid is soft. The vast majority of his highlight reel is of him sitting in a clean pocket. He dropped to the 5th round for good reasons..

I am seeing this too. He regrets his decision to become a Chief, I think. He no longer believes in Andy's playcalling, and he sure as hell doesn't believe in his pass protection. I think he is starting to weigh his actual life beyond football, and long-term consequences of injury.. and finding that playing behind this OL and for Andy is an unsatisfactory endeavor. He got this same look and body language back in the Nolan/Singletary days.

He will either gut-check this and get back on track.. finding the desire.. or KC will have no choice but to eat the dead money and part ways. Honestly, I don't know which is more likely at this point.

Alex's interest was not about money. He was set for life before ever coming to KC.

He didn't rob KC. He took what they offered, and expected them to field a good team around him. Now, he is painfully aware that KC has too many problems to overcome.. at least for him. He is either waiting for the team he expected, or has internally shut down and given up.

This is really ****ing creepy and weird. You speak of him as if you are long lost friends with the dude. No wonder you followed him over from another teams message board, which is creepy enough as it is.

Also, if Smith has lost faith in the playcalling then maybe he should voice his concerns to the coaching staff instead of acting like a kicked dog and putting his tail between his legs.
