he is going to get multiple offers...

if its true that we have 8 million in cap space he might go for more than that....

8 million wouldnt even put him in the top 20

If the Chiefs could sign him for $2 million or less, they should be all in.

Otherwise, they're overpaying for a guy that hasn't stayed healthy recently and has only played in 18 of the last 32 games.

With more than $8 million in cap space, they have enough dough to spend $2 million on Haden (due to his offset) and to add a running back.

At this point in the season, the only running backs and wide receivers on the market will be Vet Min guys and outside of a few, I'm not sure what they'd even bring to the table.

dont think that's how the offset works

KC signs him for $2M, the Browns cover another $2M up to $4M

I'd certainly bring him in for a good price, say $4M but i would NOT overpay. Offer a 'prove-it' deal with an option, if he finds better, fine.

edit: and reading more, i'm wrong, so there ya go. browns on the hook for full $4M
