So far, the good far out weighs the bad. I'm excited to see what they bring to the table in K.C.

It blows my ****ing mind that some people on here are stupid enough to equate Scott ***** to Andy Reid.

"Well ***** didn't know what he was doing so we can't trust Reid!"

Sick of hearing that bullshit. My God. WTF did ***** do in New England? We all know he didn't draft Tom Brady. We all know he didn't develop him either.

Meanwhile, Andy Reid has drafted a great QB, fooled other teams with other QB picks and made average QB's look better than they ever have throwing the ball.

It's not the same at all.

Let him draft his QB (wherever it may be) and play some games before judging him.

SP seemed to just be in the right place at the right time. I remember getting nervous when not everyone would rave about that hire. Dorsey seems to be widely considered one of the best player evaluators in the league. He's not SP.

Excellent post. I've been a Chiefs fan since 1969, so I remember the days when the Chiefs won the Super Bowl and were respected as an NFL powerhouse as well as I remember the dark ages of Scott *****. I'm very excited about Andy Reid. I want them to draft Geno, but good times are coming for this franchise even if they don't. It's too bad some of the people around here don't see that.

If they bring in Alex Smith and draft an offensive linemen, you think good times are coming?

You'd think somebody that had been a fan for 40 years wouldn't be so gullible.

It's not being gullible. It's understanding that sometimes good coaches make decisions that I don't agree with. Andy Reid will still be a good coach regardless of what happens here.

I think ultimately he will make the right decision, because Geno is the first quarterback we've ever really had a shot at who has a chance to be great.

Wanna rethink this?

If Andy Reid is hitching his wagon to Alex Smith for the forseeable future, hoe won't be a good coach here. He'll fail just like the rest of them.
