Id rather have 4 Elite bullpen guys than trade Holland.
Pitchers would only have to throw 5 innings than it's game over.

that's just unrealistic

I guess we'd never have to worry about Davis or Holland not getting enough rest ... since, you know, we'd have essentially four elite closers.

I guess then, at this point, we need a good platoon hitter that can mash lefties, a utility infielder, and Ian Kennedy or Ervin Santana.

A small-market team cannot have three relievers making a combined $20M+. That's just an idiotic use of resources.

The eventual trade of Holland or Davis is now a near certainty.

Is it really idiotic, though? The dominant bullpen was a key in our postseason run. Is it possible that a kickass bullpen is simply the new market inefficiency?
