They call it a game of skill, but it's absolutely gambling. Daily fantasy sports. Or weekly in terms of the NFL.

Davis is a freak. 99% of athletes today run circles around the talent of back in the day. Wilt would still be the freak of freaks in today's game.

7-1 1/16 w/o shoes - 4 inches more than Dwight Howard
9-7 standing reach - same as Yao Ming
7-8 wingspan - 3 more inches than Yao Ming
9.5 x 11.5" hand - bigger than Shaqs
258lbs young and skinny - 327lbs fully yoked
4.6 40 timed in his barefeet when he was 290lbs

I get you're geeked on Davis, no worries, I'm not trying to argue about it either because it's just my opinion and it won't change, probably not in my lifetime of the next pinnacle of athletic skill and talent over the past century.

I still laugh about his kryptonite being free throws, considering that they change the rules for taking them specifically because of his approach they felt was too big of an advantage as he could always catch his own shot in the air and slam dunk it like clockwork.

Worth a read- and some video included.

http://hoops-nation.com/community/to...thletic-freak/

I do have better links saved somewhere that does a much broader job of his freak achievements and is way more thorough in backing up with sources and records of his feats.

Which players from KU were supposed to turn into NBA stars that didn't, though? I can't think of one. Everyone knew guys like Robinson and McLemore had tremendous limitations that would prevent them from being impact guys.

The presence and play of Jeff Withey, Darnell Jackson, Tyshawn Taylor, Tarik Black, Brandon Rush, Cole Aldrich, Darrell Arthur, Ben McLemore, and Thomas Robinson would seem to suggest this is false.

I know but I'm sticking with my prediction just like I did with the Chiefs going 10-6 this year.

Thanks for the info, obviously, I didn't know that much about wilt, I just know that in todays game, there are few that are like Anthony Brow Davis.

Wilt Chamberlain led the NBA one year in assists... just because he decided to. A ****ing 7'1 center LED THE LEAGUE IN ASSISTS.

And the thing that no one really knows about him was how strong he was. He clearly didn't take great care of himself and his body began to give out, but my god in his prime he was unstoppable.

I'm not saying he's light years better than Dwight or Olajuwon or Kareen or Anthony Davis - but he's in that super super super super elite tier of maybe 5 guys who are just beyond the rest of the population. The one percent of the one percent.

I mean... the baskets haven't gotten any higher:
