The second one is the one I think you were referring to, World Explored, and on my two characters that have finished the game, one had 96% and one had 95%. I'm guessing to hit 100% you'd probably have to do quests a certain way to open up otherwise unavailable areas, like siding with Harrowmont to open up the Proving area and stuff like that. I wouldn't worry about it personally... I would make sure you check out all the board quests, the ones from the Chantry, the Mage Collective, the Blackwater guys and the bartender in Denerim. Some of them unlock areas.

You'd have to be more specific what you mean by 'final part'... I finished the game both times at level 23.

Ahh. You know, I dont have all the DLC. I dont have Morrigan, Leilana or the Golem one.

For the last mission that I am referring to, it is the final battle, heading into Denerim.

Just hit 21 I believe. I think I should be close to 23 by the times it is over.

Roughly 85% explored when I looked at the stats.

That seems about right. You'll get a jump in explored when you hit the final fight IIRC.

Clearly was underpowered when i tried the first time.

The rogues are needed for opening chests/doors/etc, but they don't do shit in battle.

The thing that really dick's me with dragons is that i can't use my best spell on them. I use that fire tornado (why the hell can't i remember the name?).



I'll have to take Morrigan with me, she's got the big ice one.

Make sure you've gotten the armor from Wade in the Denerim market. That helps.

Rogues are great with bows. You can go duelist and use one of their skills (although it's supposed to be a melee skill...) to get automatic crits with the top end bow skills (I've gotten hits appraching 400 damage with Leliana).

I don't really like either warriors or rogues when it comes to damage. My parties were almost always shield Tank, ranged rogue and two mages.

I thought that dragon scale armor sucked. should i be using it?

should i have paid 10 more to get something faster?

It's good for fighting anything that uses fire. Like...dragons.

I left and came back shortly after and it was done. If i had paid more, would it have been better?


I hope i didn't already sell that dragon scale stuff. i think i did. whoops.

It's much better if you get superior. If I remember correctly it doubles the fire resistance and adds a couple of other bonuses.

And then after you kill the high dragon, you can make dragon scale armor to use against Flemeth.

I'll have to get another dragon scale. Perhaps i'll go beat that bitch on the mountain top to get one (she's gotta drop some i would think). i've gotten her down to less than half life without having the right characters in.

Just finished yesterday. Very good game. I really liked it.

I still need to run through awakenings now. A lot more to explore in DAO before DA 2 jumps in.

Running through with a Mage now. Human, but wish I could have gone Elf.

Anyone ever experiment with traps much? I was going to try and use some more of the traps and do more herbalist stuff this time around.

On the mage spell tree, which trees are most effective? Which ones are ones to avoid?

me either. and the damn things take up a ton of room.

I've just recently started dicking with them a little more.
