Mizzou has spent all their money on football. I think basketball is going to suck for several more years until the money they've spent on football levels out. Hope I'm wrong. Hell, if they could hire a respected high school coach out of St. Louis, the recruitment would probably improve 100% overnight. We can't even get our good in state kids to consider Mizzou any more.

Mizzou is still going to be able to pay more than most mid-majors. If not, then yeah, they're not going to have a very attractive offer to make.

MIZZOU needs to spend their way out of this just to prove that even after all this bullshit, if you pay the big-name coach a crazy amount of money, the top recruits will follow.
