Dude was pulling hard for true son and the upset last night. That would of been a 3 year contract extension game. You guys are so close..... Probably 1 more year away.

I'm not pulling for Anderson one bit. I have said on here that he needs to go and I'm still all for that. He might be a great guy, I don't know never met him, but he is a horrible coach. I was just surprised that the team kept it under a 30 point loss.

Check his avatar.

Everyone that hates Mizzou has been rooting hard for a strong finish in the hopes that it would keep Anderson around.

Nobody that actually cares about the program wants to see Anderson retained. The Blue Hairs don't even care about the success of the team, they just want some nice, warm nostalgia to wrap themselves in before the cold hand of death claims them.

I hope it gets them soon. Old fogeys like Mosbonian are terrible for the program.

Well luckily there are only a couple of games left and Anderson will be gone. It was exciting to see what Mizzou areana could be like if you have a good team. That place looked awesome

That had to be a sign to Sterk, didn't it?

Jim - this place doesn't HAVE to be a ghost town. Mizzou wants to support its basketball team it just wants said team to not be a damn clown show. Hell, the fans will even rally behind some of these players; kids that will battle like hell like Terrance Phillips and Jordan Barnett.

But they aren't going to mistake 'white' for 'gritty' as Anderson was so fond of doing in the early 90s and now today when he continues to trot shitty players like Cullen VanLeer out there. This basketball team has 3 players on it that could be contributors on a top 25 squad, maybe a 4th. Barnett could start on a top 25 team, Phillips and Puryear could contribute off the bench. Maybe Walton as well but he really needs to find a jump shot otherwise he's mostly a rotation player on a mediocre team.

That's not good enough and some coach will come in here and realize that you can't just run off every Jonathan Williams, Jakeenan Gant or Namon Wright just because they might be a little more difficult to coach. You HAVE to turn those kinds of talents into ballplayers and if you can't get through to them, you're just the wrong man for the job.

Gee...nobody saw this one coming at all, did they?

I don't believe that Mosbonian has been much of a KA supporter, now or ever.

I was listening to St. John on 810 the AM talking to some college pundit who says Mizzou's program is so far in the shitter that not even Mid-Major coaches would touch it with a ten foot pole.

We may be stuck with Anderson because nobody decent wants to clean the catbox.

If this is true, we are in worse shape than I thought. We could be ten years away from becoming respectable.

I tell you I like Jordan Geist. The kid does have some grit. He isn't afraid to take a charge or drive in and take a hard foul. He can play defense and is a good backup point guard.

Have you seen how empty the arena has been for the last two years? And a lot of the big money donors have walked away from Mizzou Basketball -and paying for luxury suites- because the team is so God Awful.

Mizzou has spent all their money on football. I think basketball is going to suck for several more years until the money they've spent on football levels out. Hope I'm wrong. Hell, if they could hire a respected high school coach out of St. Louis, the recruitment would probably improve 100% overnight. We can't even get our good in state kids to consider Mizzou any more.
