He's the best TE on the market. And a solid investment for the future since he'll be playing with Eli.

The free agent market is crazy this year. Too many salary points chasing too little talent.

In retrospect...would you have gone with a lower total than $1300?

I would have liked a little more. I resigned only my own guys and ended up almost $50 over. I still had to make hard choices at the end. I don't know what some of these teams did with their own players to have $800 to blow on free agents.

This, I thought I went light on contracts. I think these teams have a bunch of players on one year contacts.

Not sure if this was covered, but what happens in a situation like this...
Richmond has a pool of $367, and has a bid of $365 on Sherman. They also have a bid of $25 on Mike Adams. and $5 on another player, and all of them are within 30 seconds on the countdown, and the #5 one with the least time. If the $5 or $25 ones goe through, he doesn't have enough for Sherman bid...does it go to the next highest bid? What if their money is gone elsewhere because they were outbid? |

Richmond has 4 bids in now with plenty of money still to spend.
