I about laughed my ass off when I saw Ron Moore put himself onscreen at the end.

Great, great finish. Although they didn't answer EVERY question, they did a damn good job of wrapping most of it up. I enjoyed this series as much as any I've watched in some time. I hope Ron Moore continues in this genre if he decides to break away from Galactica-lore.
And Silock finally got to see shit get blowed up. |

So I'd like to see a series where the Centurians came back to present-day Earth and caused some trouble...maybe just a mini-series or something.

Let's do a miniseries where a centurian works as sheriff in an old west town.

One of many reasons I'll never buy any of the originals. That, and watching the same four explosions used over and over and over and over again. And the original Jar Jar Binks, a/k/a Boxey and his mechanical daggit.

How bout a miniseries where a Centurian is gay, but still in the closet and he lives in a world where the word "Fa_", "Queer", and "Butt-Pirate" are thrown around loosely among his friends. It hurts him inside every time he hears it, but he cant come out and admit that he is gay because his programming won't allow it.

Off the top of my head, the original BSG was full of Movie Rip-Offs.
The Magnificent Seven/Seven Samurai (The Magnificent Warriors...different Western episode than the one with "Red-Eye" the Sheriff). The Towering Inferno (Fire in Space) Generic Fantasy Film (The Young Lords...frakkin Unicorns?) The Guns of Navarone (The Gun on Ice Planet Zero) The Sting (The Man With Nine Lives) Generic Cold-War Thriller (The Entire "Terra" Arc) Ugghh.....
