Would be like having Frank HAITH all over again, but with worse recruiting. Would still be an improvement over the current disaster, though.

One has to wonder how/when KA or Mr. New Boss is going to spin this abortion of an experiment.
I'll admit that I wasn't crushed to see KA take over at MIZZOU, he did pretty OK in his previoius job, seemed smart enough, and not a fool. But hindsight is 20/20 and there's just no way to spin this as anything but an abortion, there just isn't. Now, if MIZZOU comes out and tells us all that they were on some kind of double-secret probation from winning because of something FH did (LOL, I wish it was that easy) that might explain what we just saw. I'm not sure anything else could possibly explain it. What they CAN'T do is tell us that it was a rebuilding year, a year of adjustment, a fluke, a year where a total change was being fostered-in, the kids were young, or anything like that. They have to own the abortion that was this year, apologize for having let down the people of Missouri, and vow to make changes that will reverse this abortion AND EXPLAIN WHAT THOSE THINGS ARE. They don't get the luxury of secrecy after this, if they don't want to fire KA they have to do more than give the fans a bunch of coach-speak. Further they have to address the recruiting situation. They have to explain how/why kids who can play the game at the D1 level would pick MIZZOU and KA. IOW, they have to acknowledge the toxicity that is this program, and explain how KA's presence doesn't adversely affect the program from getting into the dance next year. |

To no surprise, Fuller is officially not coming back. Will the transfer dominoes start to fall now?

Transfer dominoes might not be quite as bad as they looked a few weeks ago. We'll see. Isabell is gone. Would be floored if he was brought back (more floored than when I learned they had actually made the huge ****ing mistake of hiring this guy). Not sure about Allen, Wright, Gant, etc.

Also saw this. How ****ing sad is it to compare this very low expectation with what actually happened.

I want this guy to lose every game he coaches in the most embarrassing fashion possible. I want mutinies, more suspensions; pretty much everything short of Dave Bliss at Baylor. Give me an era of embarrassment unrivaled in the program's history. With the Quin/Floyd era as the bar it will certainly be tough, but I think Anderson can manage. Only a mercy-killing by Rhoades will save him from truly gutting this program. What a predictably catastrophically shitty hire.

YES!!!!!!!!
BURN IT DOWN!!! Seriously, just burn this ****ing program to the ground. I want Gant, Wright, Allen and Isabel to leave too. I want this team to be Teki, VanLeer, Puryear and a squad of ****ing walk-ons. I want all the cocksucking blue hairs created this horseshit to be FORCED to sit in that goddamn arena for 20 games next year and watch every goddamn second of what their ass-backwards ****ing nostalgia hath wrought. Then I want them to ****ing die. Screaming. God damn this program and all the assholes that ran it into a mountain at 1,000 mph. We had so much momentum coming into a conference that simply didn't care about basketball and now we're in the worst shape we've ever been in AND the rest of the conference gives a shit now. I still hope Bama gets Marshall. I hope the Vols wrap up Barnes and above all else I hope that every single person leaving this team transfers to another SEC school and kicks us in the ****ing throat every single night. And I hope Norm and Alden are in the front row to watch Anderson at the helm of the Titanic. The cowards probably won't have the stomach for it. Keep it coming, kiddos. Bleed this team dry. I'm sure the 'true son' will save it.

Just saw this post from SEC Rant on the mizzou board.
"Power Mizzou is hearing at least 2 more, they implied Bello and Isabell and possibly more beyond that, I would think Gant and Teki are candidates. Losing J3 is a massive blow, the chances for year 3 of the KA area are significantly lower than they were before. " |

So unless this guy hates Anderson so much that he's willing to flat out leave D-1 basketball, he's out of options. Oh, and if he DOES hate Kim Anderson so much that he's willing to leave D1 outright, that's just friggen outstanding.
