well you also thought Tom Brady was in decline 4 years ago so ... it's safe to say you're not always right, eh?

No idea. He gets hurt again this year? Yeah, I'd say he's toast. Right now, seems as if the last 2 years were more unlucky than anything. If Romo goes to Denver I'm going to give up on this sport. |

He's fractured his back in two of the last three years. He fractured his collarbone in the one in between. Great as he is when he's actually on the field, yeah, I'd say it's pretty safe to say he's likely to get hurt again.

Still have a shred... shred.. of hope that Smith will recognize that his football career is near its end.. and just LET LOOSE. Sink or swim but take a much more aggressive approach. I can't fault those that greatly doubt this could happen. If I felt there was no chance of this sudden aggression, I too would be eager to move onto the next QB. This receiving corps is TOO wicked to waste. Last chance, Smith. Love you, bro, but you have to let er rip or **** right off.

let loose? Smith is just incapable of ad-libbing or making multiple reads. I lost all hope for Smith ever being anything other than himself when he was looking at Tyreek Hill, saw Tyreek Hill wide open, and then, inexplicably, rolled out right and threw the ball away.
Dude doesn't have the Romo/Rodgers instinct to make plays and it's evident. Him letting loose won't do anything - he doesn't have the ability. He's a very calculated guy and very dependent on Reid's playcall and his pre-snap read. Anything goes awry after the snap ... and he's a sitting duck who drops his head and looks for a place to run. He knows the offense well and when things are going well and the play calls are working, he's fine, even good ... other than that, he's a nobody. A nothing. Hell, he tried not dropping his eye level more this year and he'd find a wide open Spencer Ware only to shit the bed with awful throws countless times. Dude bores me and I hope I don't have to go through another year of boring offense with boring Smith |

Probably won't happen, but I'll dismiss any claims that it can't. Bottom line is, regardless of his last hurrah... we will ALL be hoping for that QBotF... and I'd hope.. ALL hoping for Chiefs success no matter who is playing. I don't know why that can't be enough for CP, and why it's so important for the extreme haters to demand that everyone feel the exact same way... when the opinions are universally... pretty damn close enough.

Houston more than likely, but Denver has two shit options, so they are definitely in the mix.

I can't imagine why Romo would go to Denver over Houston, if the Texans offer.
Warmer weather for those old bones, a better overall team, better coach and winning the AFC South would be a hell lot easier than the West. |

Same reason Manning did it. He turned down much warmer weather cities, probably to his long term detriment. His arm never seemed to do as well in the cold games at the end of the year. Elway convinced him they were going to sell out to win.
