The defense they played against did the same (and pushed our Oline's shit in, worth mentioning. Oline needs to roid up or something...)

Add in the fact that it was EB's first game to call plays as the OC. I'm sure there was a whole lot going on behind the scenes that added to the vanilla factor

Don't forget that Colin Kaepernick was a bitter backup with an axe to grind. This is when the kneeling began. Chip Kelly benched CK in favor of Blaine Gabbert. CK also wore pig cop socks to practice. The 49er's played CK out of his contract by getting him to restructure his contract eliminating the injury guarantee clause and reducing the contract from a 4 year to a two with a opt out with the 49er's promising him the starting QB position if he did so. Colin signed off, opted out of the last year and the rest is history. It's the story of a man who had it all and tossed the ball away. I'm guessing he didn't major in business at Nevada.

Yep. Vanilla doesn't excuse Eric Fisher from being complete shit. I was hoping we could focus on defense again in the draft next year. Unfortunately, it looks like we need to retool the OL.
