I wonder if the pilots of the MC-130 that dropped the MOAB today had painted, "UNITED" in the side of the plane?

True to their word, United is no longer using police to remove passengers from planes.

Shows how tone deaf United is. I'm sure they'll have a future incident where security is needed, then they'll use pr to drum up sympathy. "see what happens when you pull security? Let us do our jobs." security didn't act great but they are not the problem.

Doesn't tackle the root problem. This happened because delta tried to dick over a customer because they poorly handled compensation. They should aim to force less people off the plane and ensure mostly every passenger only leaves the plane if they agree to the compensation. But God forbid they out profit over the customer.

It is such a hassle to fly with the TSA and everything now. Plus instead of being round trip tickets they are vouchers with all sorts of restrictions. If they offered up tickets again or simply cash they would probably get a lot more people willing to bite and for probably cheaper.

And there it is. Wow.

United scumbags. I wouldn't doubt they were behind the smear campaign around David Dao. Now they're going after aviation security? Wow, United. Take some ****ing responsibility for your actions. This is going to go down as a textbook example of a crisis management disaster.

Yup. Funny money isn't real money. If you're going to bump passengers, pay them some cash. That'll get volunteers real quick.
