Congrats on a Great Year, the #2 Seed, and Looking Forward to Pats/Chiefs AFCCG

I just wanted to say congrats to the Chiefs on a great year. The stars really couldn't have aligned much better for the Pats and Chiefs to meet in the AFCCG this year. I'm sure you guys are rooting against the Pats in the divisional round so you get home field for the championship game, but I'm counting on seeing Pats/Chiefs in Foxboro on Sunday, January 22.

Agreed that your offense is better. So is the Patriots defense ---- in theory. It seems better, it's statistically better, etc., but the quality of opponents has been lacking.

Will be a good game I think. One that the Pats should win, but not a slam dunk by any means I don't think.

Ne isn't going to the SB. Whoever wins the Pitt/KC game is SB bound.

The Chiefs are very unlikely to win at Foxboro. That is very clear in my mind. Im hoping for a good game though

I'm just hoping for a Brady career-ender in their first playoff game! Is that too much to ask for?

I'm trying to remember all of the injuries in last year's game.

Houston - out
Maclin - out

I know I'm missing a few others.

Not understanding the smiley face.

When was the last time the Pats played a SOS in the top 1/4 of the league? AFC East has been a joke for too long. The North is a tough division though with regards to the style of play. Lewis and Harbaugh are good coaches that just need a few more pieces. Pitt has that explosive offense, but coaching and consistency are issues.

It is a good thing the AFC WEST is competitive again. Both the Chiefs and Raiders earned their stripes this year playing tougher schedules than first anticipated. Battle tested. Here's to hoping the Steelers and Pats get roughed up somewhat before facing KC.

The same environment? This Patriots offense is nothing like it. The Patriots' offense this year is sneaky-good. It could be the best they've ever had. The O-line is playing as solid as I've ever seen a Patriots O-line play that didn't have a guy named John Hannah on it. This is the first year that a Gronkless offense doesn't mean a TE-less offense, since Martellus Bennett is good enough to start--and star--on most teams. The aforementioned O-line and the trio of Blount, Lewis, and White gives the Pats the best rushing attack they've had since clock-killin' Corey Dillon. The WR position? Also the deepest they've ever had, with Amendola hopefully coming back to join Edelman, Chris Hogan, emerging rookie Mitchell, and now they've added Michael Floyd for chump change. Oh, yeah, and the quarterback's kinda good.

The problem the Patriots pose is that they can beat you however they need to beat you, as long as the O-line gives Brady time. You put eight in the box and Brady will kill you. You bring in nickel and dime packages and Blount and friends will kill you. Screen passes, deep passes, over the middle, to the sideline, to the running backs, to the tight end, whatever they need to do. Belichick takes what you do best away, and concentrates on what you do worst.

For the Chiefs to win an AFCCG in Foxboro, they're going to need to create at least two turnovers on D and have a big runback on ST. Because Alex doesn't have the weapons or ability to match Brady score for score and--as good of a coach as he is--Reid is no Belichick.

P.S.: in the Pats/Chiefs playoff game, the Patriots rushed for a grand total of 38 yards, and their third-best WR in the game was Keshawn Martin. Yes, they had Gronk, but the rest of it was pretty pathetic... and they still scored 27 points.

Make no mistake, the Patriots are still an excellent team with the greatest coach to ever walk the earth, but in terms of roster talent, this is one of the more unimpressive Pats teams of the last few years. Whereas this is probably the most talented Chiefs roster in over a decade.

I feel very good about beating the Pats, even in Foxboro. I was watching highlights of the playoff loss last year, and what was crazy about that game is that we were outplayed, both by ourselves and by the Pats, and it was STILL a one score game. Believe we turned the ball over three times, and the Pats got good field position off two of them, while the other was in/near the red zone. And this team is better than last years.

Dude, I'm just going to get this out of the way right now. Belichick is the GOAT of coaches, true, fact.

But there isn't a single f**king coach in the world who can scheme and take away Kelce, Hill, and Maclin. Sell out to do it and Conley and Wilson can make plays too 1 on 1. You can double one, but at some point its just man to man who's gonna be better.

It's no coincidence that Alex all of the sudden started running the ball, or that Ware/West started to perk up. Teams have to respect Hill's speed. He will run by corners with a cushion. Kelce is a matchup problem that no other team currently has.

Would we be favored? No. But to write the Chiefs off or think BB can 'take away' their weapons is f**king asinine.

Completely agree. People just say "Alex Smith over Tom Brady lol no" as if those are the only two players on the field.

Outside of QB, the Chiefs have more talent than the Patriots this year, and I don't think that's debatable.
