Seahawks WR Jermaine Kearse will hit the market.
I always liked this guy as a #2 WR.

Travis Benjamin seems like a good fit.
Decent WR2 and he can return punts/kicks, meaning no more Frankie, fumblin' bumblin' Knile Davis, and a solid backup if DAT gets concussed again or calls it quits. |

I do think the Chiefs need to invest in another veteran/proven WR. Basically this year it was Maclin and a bunch of inexperienced WR's. Avant was the only other veteran WR on the roster but he wasn't a factor until the Patriots playoff game. The Chiefs need more veteran WR's. |

Given his weight he is somewhere between TE and sumo-wrestler now. |

You have to remember that Kelce is in fact our true #2 receiver and is due a pay day next offseason, so we wouldn't be wise to invest heavily again in what would essentially be a WR3.
You have to bank on Conley developing into a true threat, along with more from Wilson, and you add a cheap FA or draft picks. Fred Williams might even make our roster next year, who knows. I think Conley will be our biggest breakout player on the offensive side next year. He has all of the physical tools and the smarts to master a role in the offense. If he becomes legit, this offense could be tough to deal with. |

Anyone that watches Seahawks knows that Kearse would be a poor fit for the Chiefs.
It seems like his yardage comes from play breakdowns, where Wilson scrambles and it becomes sandlot football. He'd be a waste of money in KC. |
