Taking a toddler to a Chiefs game...

Good idea or bad idea? We're flying back home to go to the Chiefs/Steelers game in October. My wife and I are battling amongst ourselves whether to bring our 16 month old daughter (she'll be 19 months come October) to the game or leave her with family. We're gonna buy some earmuffs just in case we bring her to the game obviously, and practice trying to keep them on her lol.

We've taken her to Royals games and D-backs games already and she has a blast, but we know football is different and even with the earmuffs we'd be a bit nervous lol. As far as being rowdy is concerned, we wouldn't have to worry about that since it's a football game. Just rambling now lol.

Anyway, just wondering. I've never noticed any babies or toddlers at games but now that I have one it makes you think.

I'm an only child so my childhood was about experiencing life.

My first event was the 84 Olympics. My earliest memory at Dodger Stadium involved Stan Javier throwing me a baseball. Went to countless Rose Bowls for teams I didn't care about. Grew up in the forum.

My dad hated the Rams and the Raiders so those never happened. But he did take me to a freeway overpass to watch OJ and the White Bronco.

My Marli had had headsets for car races since she was an infant. And she's perfect. /mom I'm going to lose them all too soon. I absolutely want to watch them experience life while I can.

So, parents aren't supposed to bring their kids to football games so adults can unleash drunken profanities (which aren't covered by the first amendment btw) and act like total assholes without fear of retribution?

Okay.

I'm sure you've seen the signs stating that profanities and other acts of general stupidity aren't wanted or tolerated in the stadium, right?

You act and speak the same in front of children as you do around your buddies?

That type of behavior shouldn't be acceptable whether or not there is a child present. Nothing at all changes by that child being there and suggesting that some type of announcement is necessary is absurd.
