I didn't see it live, but after seeing the replays I think it was dirty but I don't think it was egregious or that he was necessarily intending to injure. But I don't think it warranted the complete cluster**** yesterday. We should be bigger than that. We had already exacted out eye for an eye.

Around the Horn blamed Lawrie and baseball for the incident(s). Every panelist. Not one blamed the Royals. So, there's that.

the cluster **** happened yesterday for 3 reasons..

1. Reddick running his mouth Saturday night after the game
2. Kazmir hitting Cain
3. Bad Umpiring

I hate that show, but at least we aren't getting killed by the national media today. I really thought the Royals would be getting blasted from everyone.

I think that anyone who thinks Kazmir hit Cain on purpose is a dummy.

I would agree based on the location. Then there is that pesky fact he had pin point accuracy the rest of the game. Also, Reddick said saturday night it wasn't over. Kazmir is a veteran. I would expect him to make it look incidental.

I think anyone who watched and knew what was going on that thinks it wasn't intentional is a bigger dummy.

Of course it was intentional. Throw at his legs, make it look "unintentional", get the Royals all foaming at the mouth....

And it worked.

It worked great....right up until the part that they lost

Kietzman is blasting the Royals on his show today. Says the umps were right on every decision, and the Royals are not a team of good guys.
