Ok. Of course by the time the rest of your team is good enough(if that ever happens) your QB is going to be 50. So even if we do play by this idea that Carson is good enough I don't think it will ever matter.

Because I'm sure Palmer will be around when he's 50. It may take a few years but they will gradually get rid of the reeruned Al Davis scholarships (perhaps by letting them go via free agency to KC) and bring in some decent players. The difference is that Oakland has a new regime. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, yet expecting different results.

Do you think Brady, Rodgers or one of the Mannings could come to Oakland and suddenly make them a miracle team? If so, please give me a toke off what you're smoking. QB can only take the team so far. Heart only takes you so far. You need talent too. When a QB throws the ball right to your hands and you can't catch it, it's kind of hard to throw the QB under the bus.

BTW, this is a point of debate on the Raider forums. Palmer is the ONLY reason we're not going 0-16 this year. I guess it's Palmer's fault that the running game and defense are among the worst-ranked in the NFL.
