I never watched the TMNT cartoons or read the comics growing up. I guess the live-action films got me hooked.
Man, I loved me some Ninja Turtles. They were probably my biggest fad along with Power Rangers. Any chance they do a modern, big budget Power Rangers flick? |

I actually think this doesn't look as bad as everyone hung up on the cartoon turtles. This is a little different and they seem to be goofy and not so serious themselves as the original. Also Shredder i'm not sure is Fitchner...I also think the CGI looks pretty good as well the earlier trailers not so much...
Check out this funny, yet informative breakdown of the trailer. I'll def see it and hope it's entertaining |

I'll tell you what could totally send everyone into a tizzy....if they could have an after credits scene that shows a closeup of Krang commanding his troops to prepare to "enter the portal." As the camera pans out, we see that he is in his android body which is standing on a balcony overlooking an army of rock soldiers. It pans out further to reveal the Technodrome in Dimension X. I would shit my pants.

Seriously. +1.
Nothing will ever top the original.

I vaguely remember Raph as my favorite. He was the tough guy and usually kicked the most ass. He was the "coolest" to me at the time.

Here too. He had the most close range weapon. Hell Leonardo had this big ass sword and didn't do any better. I didn't know shit about fighting at the time, but Raph was my favorite.

I think I was too old to ever get hooked into the Ninja Turtles.
