Technically, they'll have one of you as their client, but they can still effectively perform all the essential legal drafting and filing components of the divorce for the couple. If you already have an agreement on how to split everything, they can write that up without conflict of interest, for example.

As a mid 30s dude thats been through a nasty divorce where she basically stole everything I worked for in my 20's/ these are things that Ive learned or was told to do and all helped.

1) Try to settle out of court, amicably (if thats possible)

2) Start doing things you like to do. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want now. Want to go to happy hour on Tuesday night and get wasted? Do it. Want to sit in your underwear and play playstation all weekend instead of going outside? Do it. Have the buddy she hated over every night for the NBA playoff and beers? Do it. You get the idea.

3) Start taking care of yourself. Get a hobby that not self destructive or start working out.

3) Lean on your friends and family and talk about it until you're sick of hearing it yourself.

4) Start an online profile and bone a lot of chicks.

5) Block her and all her close friends family on any social media, at least for a few months. Nothing like randomly seeing the new dude she's boning when you're already feeling low.
