I don't think we've discussed this yet, so here you go. Up to five of these guys (plus the one senior candidate) can go in. You make the vote when the poll goes up and I release white smoke from the chimney.

Edit: Two other finalists weren't in the poll because the profootballhof listed them separately. Bill Polian and Ron Wolf are also finalists if you want to vote for them as write-ins.

yeah, he got in because of Pittsburg. He was a decent running back, played a long time, but an all time great? hell no.

It's turning into the Rock and Roll HOF, in that every pick is subjective.

If Bettis gets in and Charles Haley doesn't, it'll prove that the NFL cares more about who is the center of attention to the media in a SB than any statistics.

If Bettis gets in and Don Coryell doesn't, it'll prove that the NFL cares more about who does "Chunky Soup" commercials than true innovators of the game.
(BTW - On top of the passing innovations, Coryell invented the God Damned "I" formation ).

The NFL is quickly becoming a sorry brand.
