What's so great about him? I'm not a fan. He can go deep and that's about it. Bad route runner with average hands. Highly touted underachiever at UGA and over valued in KC. He is part of the reason we signed a bunch of free agent WRs.

Conley's numbers were inline with a second year 3rd round player, especially in an offense that tends to favor running backs and TE's as primary targets.

Andy Reid has already publicly stated that Tyreek Hill's role will increase offensively this year, so you're wrong about that, too.

His numbers were equal to an oft-injured Jeremy Maclin in 2016 and he made several clutch catches in close games.

Most of those free agent signings have zero to due with Conley and more to due with Wilson and Robinson.

In addition to that, the majority are "Try Out" players, not guys intended for the 90.

Hi Dane, good to see you back!

As per Conley, I think the jury's still out on the kid. Seems to me that Alex doesn't throw him the ball much, but when he does, Conley seems to catch it. Now, whether or not he's not getting the ball because he's not open, is another matter. I don't have All-22, so it's hard to tell. Nonetheless, his progression as an NFL WR seems to be advancing as expected.

As I recall, the UDFA WR signings are for rather tall WRs, so that does provide some concern that perhaps Conley isn't the answer as per needs for a tall receiver?

Personally, other than Hill, I think our WR corps is rather pedestrian. Maclin certainly disappointed last year. Wilson has some nice traits, but a wide catch radius certainly isn't one of them. Conley is ok, but to me at least doesn't demonstrate much upside beyond being an average #2 receiver. To date, Robinson is nothing more than a ST gunner. With all that in mind, I think the door's wide open for one (or more) of these UDFA WRs to make the team. We definitely need to upgrade that unit.

Rico, can you get them all in the same name/position/college format and sort them by offense/defense 1st, position 2nd, and alphabetical order of last name 3rd? Thanks in advance.

Alonzo Moore is a hell of an athlete and didnt have a QB to throw to him. Maybe he makes the practice squad.

Don't forget Wil-son.

On a different note, I've never noticed before how many Chiefs have last names that could be first names. The roster contains guys with the last names of Alexander, James, Logan, Mitchell, Murray, Nelson, Nicolas, Parker, Reid, Sherman, Thomas, Travis, and you could even add Wilson if you're a Tom Hanks fan.
