Your favorite kind of fruit

I love summer because all the fruits are fresh and ripe. I love most fruits, but especially like pineapple, strawberries, and peaches. Picked up some Chilton County peaches over the weekend, so damn good. Pineapple - especially in Hawaii, I could live on that stuff.

Do you do anything to spruce up your favorite fruits or eat them raw? If you do something to enhance, what do you do?

Oranges are my absolute favorite so spring and summer kinda sucks.

Cherries are good for the two or three weeks they are in season. It helps that there is a cherry orchard right across the street from my house.

I like nectarines but it's damn hard to find them anymore that aren't rock hard. I don't like peaches unless they are home canned (or cobbler).

I used to really like apples and grapes but they have been ruined. Apples are almost always mealy now with a too thick skin. Grapes just aren't good anymore. I wish I could find the Thompson seedless grapes I would get as a kid.

Blueberries, blackberries and marionberries are good. I don't really like raspberries and can't stand strawberries.

Hate, hate, hate watermelon with a passion. Cantaloupe is tolerable but I rarely eat it.

I eat bananas fairly frequently but they are kind of the potatoes of the fruit world.

Nice yes I love Cherries too - However I don't like them as pie filling.

Raspberries, blackberries and blueberries are ones I prefer the most when fresh. Eat bananas probably the most since they are convenient snack at work. Apples are the next most convenient and good but don't seem as tasty these days.

There are few fruits that I don't like. Pears probably at the top. It's like someone took an apple and rubbed sand on it. Grit is bad.

Huckleberries are easily my favorite fruit. If I was to sell you on them, I would just have you try some and let them cast their spell over you.

I think I had something made of huckleberry a few months back and it was delicious. I can't remember what it was, though.
